Exec summary: The best pizza in Southern California Location: The location is in an industrial part of town. I thought my Navi lead me astray. Nope. The parking lot is tiny - don't even bother trying to find a spot. Park on the street Ambiance : industrial. You are eating in a warehouse Food: They are crazy busy. Why? The pizza is amazing. I haven't had pizza this good since coming back from Europe. This is why everyone comes here.

The sketchy industrial vibes outside can be off putting for some. Warehouses on every block, streets full of 18 wheelers rolling by, and metal bars on windows. But don't judge a book by its cover! With that being said, you won't find me here after 5PM. Lunchtime is fine, but I usually get takeout for dinner. Also the interior lighting has this green tint that makes the food unappetizing when it comes to photo-taking. Ordering online was very easy and the food was ready within a reasonable 20 minutes. Margherita - Simple. Personally I prefer the thick and airy crust of a Neapolitan, but this thin and crispy Roman-style pizza provided a nice contrast to the smooth San Marzano tomato sauce and the melted mozzarella. Something to keep in mind though, basil is an additional $2. Cheesecake - Strawberry preserves on top give it some tartness, not as rich and dense compared to cream cheese-based cheesecakes but this was a unique cottage cheese rendition. Cannoncini - I recommend this! Horned-shaped puff pastries filled with either a sweet custard or chocolate filling. Flaky and creamy! You will find them on the corner of S Broad and W 155th, in unincorporated West Rancho Dominguez (Gardena mailing address). Off-street parking available in the back.

Second time eating from Eatalian. First time was for lunch and it wasn't great. But today.... It made up for the burnt pasta. This time we purchased the 8 Gi Pizza Rock (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy salami, Gorgonzola, spinach, bacon) with sauteed mushrooms, ham, Italian sausage, artichokes. Spicy. It was a pizza with all different toppings on each slice. I had one with Gorgonzola all over it and it was heavenly. I loved the bitter yet tangy cheese. We also ordered the House cake which melted in my mouth. It was so delicious. You can taste the creaminess, coffee and chocolaty happiness in each bite. I tasted the Tiramisu.... After eating the House Cake, it was hard to taste what the Tiramisu offered. Lastly, we got a canoli. Haven't had a chance to try it. Was too full I can't detail on the service or ambiance as we did not eat in and ordered from the food service companies to deliver.

The food was so good I only got a chance to take a picture of the appetizer. 5/5 | Fritto Misto, Margherita, Spagetti Carbobara, Gnocchi | $18.50, $13, $16, $17.25 Food: Everything was PERFECT, except the Gnocchi. Fritto Misto was fried squid rings and shrimp that was fried to perfection with the freshest seafood. The Marghetrita was different from what I was used to as it did not have the basil or mozzarella cheese. It was more of a simple plain pizza, but the flavors of the tomato sauce and chewy dough really brought out its flavors. I got the Meat Ragu Gnocchi, which was their more popular menu items, but it was honestly not that flavorful. The taste of the dough overpowered the sauce and the meat. However, the Spagetti Carbonara was wonderful. It was exactly what I was looking for in a carbonara with bold flavors made with the yolk of an egg. Service: Nothing special, the food came out relatively quickly. Ambiance: The restaraunt is surrounded by office space and autoshops, which is an interesting choice for an italian place. Lots of indoor seating with plenty of tables. There is a designated dessert area inside the restaurant that sells cakes, pies, and gelato.
